Care

Clean mud off with a damp sponge and then stuff the inside of the shoes with paper to help absorb moisture and maintain shape. Never clean shoes in a washing machine. Keep the outsole clean by scrubbing with a soft brush when needed. Air dry at room temperature. Do not dry the shoes by a fire, radiator or other heat source. Do not leave them in your car on a hot day. Extreme, direct heat can cause the materials to dry out or crack. This will damage your shoes and void your warranty.

Look great, comfort could be better

I was so excited to buy these shoes for my indoor spin class. I spin about 3 times per week. Previously had Shimano IC1’s which I loved but wanted something a bit more upmarket and more comfortable. Most reviews suggested that Pearl Izumi’s were up there on comfort.

I have worn them 4 times now. They are ok but make my toes numb after about 10 minutes. I have loosened the straps off completely and still numb. This means that they are either too narrow in the toe box (even though many claim that they are good for wide feet; the sole plate is too stiff told lastly the tongue sticks into the ankle when cycling. I think it is the tongue pressing on a blood vessel cutting off blood supply to feet causing the numbness. It’s such a shame as I had real high hopes about these shoes. I ordered the white ones and they look amazing but for now I will order another brand and put them aside. Shame.
