Description

This highly insulated glove is optimized for handlebar comfort and confident bicycle control, with enough sensitivity to hit every shift. We use 100g Primaloft Gold insulation w/Crosscore technology, which incorporates Aerogel particles for incredible warmth with minimal bulk. The main body fabric provides wind protection with easy articulation and an Ax Suede Laredo synthetic leather palm makes the glove as grippy as it is durable. The AmFIB-specific 3D shaped gel pad provides bar comfort without causing unnecessary bulk. Despite its generous insulation, it is still touch-screen compatible.

Features

• 100g Primaloft Gold w/Crosscore technology insulation is made from 35% post-consumer recycled polyester and incorporates Aerogel particles for maximum warmth with minimal bulk
• New AmFIB-specific 3D shaped gel palm pad reduces bulk and improves grip comfort
• AmFIB Softshell main body fabric protects from wind and water
• Ax Suede Laredo synthetic leather palm for durability and great grip
• Touch screen compatible index finger and thumbs

Fabric

Back: 96% polyester, 4% polyurethane Palm: 80% polyester, 20% polyurethane Lining: 100% polyester

Care

Wash with simple detergents without additives. Pick a gentle wash cycle. Close all zippers and hook and loop closures (“Velcro”). Tumble dry using a lower heat setting (fabric should not be hot to the touch). When in doubt (or to save energy) hang your clothing to dry. Do not use dryer sheets. Products with scents, softeners, etc. will inhibit performance of technical fabrics.

Well-made winter cycling gloves praised for warmth and quality in moderate cold (above 0°C to -5°C). Customers said "very warm" and "well constructed," though some noted bulkiness affects brake lever operation. Cuff design received mixed feedback—velcro closure difficult to use and too thick for jacket sleeves. Lining may turn inside out when removed.

Good for moderate winter days

Good for moderate winter days (above zero)
3rd pair I bought for my family and me, we like them. But the lobster version is better for cold days (around and below zero).

Very warm, but almost too thick for cycling

Bordering on too thick for cycling. They definitly are warm.... but they are also bulky like ski gloves, meaningthey prevent your brake levers from being pulled all the way when using only 1 or 2 fingers for braking. Also, when they get sweaty inside, and you pull them off, the lining has a tendency to turn inside out and that makes putting them on again very difficult. I also don't like the extended cuffs, which are too thick to go inside a jacket sleeve, and too small inside to go over a jacket sleeve. The cuffs also feature a useless hook and loop strap to tighten them down. It just makes the cuffs even bulkier without adding any functionality. I tried using these gloves for cross country skiing on a very cold day, and they sort of worked for that, but again were almost too bulky to fit into the hand straps of the poles. These are basically alpine ski gloves...

Warm and well made

Good feeling gloves. They do keep my hands (mostly) warm. I wear them with Merino liners. I am not a fan of the Velcro on the cuff which is almost impossible to use once you have one glove on. Would prefer a cuff which is easier to fit under a jacket cuff.

Ice cold winner

Both these to replace Assos GTO Ultraz that were very disappointing. Had pearl izumi gloves in thebpast and changed lile a fool. These keep my hand warm till minus 5 with no inserts. I don’t think id use them for colder but they leave the competition in the shade. I was very disappointed in the Assos gloves. The pearls are very well constructed and priced. You will have sweaty hands after the ride but an hour on a radiator drys them out.

Buenos guantes.

Están muy bien, aunque creo que no llegan hasta -9, o al menos a mí, con temperaturas de -3 me duelen las yemas de los dedos.

AMFIB Gel Gloves

Lovely warm glove. Very well made.
Initially on first putting them on I wondered if operating Road Di2 controls would be easy? Shouldn’t have worried they settled in and were perfect on both bars and controls.
