Elite Gel Glove

I purchased these mitts to replace an existing pair that, after many thousands of miles use, were beginning to need minor repairs. I prefer a snug fit so the mitts don't move around on climbs so chose size S as previously even though my hand size is at the maximum for the size.

Great mitts with good padding in the right places. Some internal seams can be felt, though I expect this to reduce as the seams flatten out with use.

Only issue was with delivery by UPS, who managed to deliver the first pair to a completely wrong address hundreds of miles from my home. That said, Pearl Izumi were quick to despatch a replacement pair.

Bought as a replacement for some favourites from a few years ago which have worn out. Basically the same apart from colours. I particularly wanted gel pads rather than foam for longer rides. Despite buying XL, they are a little tight and slow to get off. Otherwise robust and delivered on time.

Have purchased the elite gel mits before from a local cycle store (cliff pratt's) so I know they are very comfortable when riding....the order process with pearl izumi was very easy and quick.

Had a pair for years - padding still doing the job and still intact after many washes and many rides in all seasons. This new pair after a couple of rides and washes seem destined to compare well in terms of performance, comfort and will last at least as long I’m sure!
