Description
The Expedition Alpha takes the top step when it comes to delivering dynamic, thermoregulating protection against cold on the bike. Quilted panels of Polartec® Alpha® Direct provide targeted insulation in the areas where riders feel the most cold: the shoulders, chest, and upper arms. DWR-treated windproof ripstop composes the exterior of the jacket, and the insulation-free back and side panels allow excess heat to escape so you stay in the comfort zone. A silicone hemline grip and encased elastic cuffs combine to make for a draft-free ride. Whether you’re rolling out the fat bike or need extra warmth for nights spent bikepacking, the Expedition Alpha provides light, capable protection for the adventure-minded rider. Even better, it's made with upcycled materials.

Entretien
Wash with simple detergents without additives. Pick a gentle wash cycle. Close all zippers and hook and loop closures (“Velcro”). Tumble dry using a lower heat setting (fabric should not be hot to the touch). When in doubt (or to save energy) hang your clothing to dry. Do not use dryer sheets. Products with scents, softeners, etc. will inhibit performance of technical fabrics.

Did good on XC MTB Tour

Did my first Tour wirh it yesterday on an XC MTB Ride. Started with 6°C and ended eirh sunny 14°C , doing 35km and 450 hm. No could shoulders and arms, blocks wind very good. When it gets warmer the zip from both side helps with ventilation. Inside not very dry or wet, with a good baselayer it was fine.

Lovely style for all kinds of riding,

Lovely style for all kinds of riding, surprisingly warm as long as you move - don't sit down in the cold, especially if you're slightly damp underneath, but if you manage to avoid that it'll get you through colder rides about 0°C. I bought it the second time, the last time it was size L but I lost some weight and need M now, so I went for the same one again. At first I was a bit afraid of tearing it up and I wouldn't recommend wearing it if you go through thick underwood, but so far the material holds up nicely and even the older one looks like new.
