Zapatillas Carretera Pro Air

I ordered different sizes and different brands and these shoes were by far the lightest and most comfortable. I have wide and low feet. The sizing is true to size (my feet are 29,6 cm and I ordered size 47 and 48, both being a bit too big, since they didn't lock my heel in. I contacted customer service and they promptly replied that given the sent photos nr. 46 might be too short for me. I still regret that I couldn't try them in action and see if the heel problem really is relevant. I highly recommend them to anyone with wide feet.

Ligero y gran calidad, el único pero, pero muy importante, es que la horma creo es demasiado estrecha lo que puede ser incómodo aún con pies no muy anchos, en mi caso entiendo que simplemente por superar los 60 años y es natural que se ensanchen. Tenerlo en cuenta

Good fit for wider feet. Wearing Size 46 in other Shoes like Northwave i ordered Size 47 and they fit well - maybe even a little bit on the taller side. i will give them a try in 46 with thin socks but keep 47 for normal rides or thicker socks in colder climate.

Super stiff and light with a good comfortable fit. The loose tongue combind with the floppy Boa strings make initial tiightening somewhat fiddly, as the strings often find themselves below the tounge or somehow out of place. I love the high end metal boa closures. They allow precise tightening and incremental loosening to dial in the desired tightness. Also, they are very easy to fully release, which differs from some lower end Boas on my old Pearl Izumi mtn shoes, which kill your fingers trying to pull them upwards to rleease. The shoe has so much ventilation that it makes a very good indoor training shoe, although that is a bit of a shame to use such an expensive shoe for that. That being said, the fancy carbon sole has no protection from stones or uneven pavement when walking, so I think you would quickly scrape up the underside if you use them outdoors and have to walk more than a few steps. Like shimano shoes, I ordered a size larger than my normal shoe size, and that seems like it was a good choice.

Las zapatillas son muy cómodas y rígidas, a la vez que livianas. En veran se agradecen la multitud de rejillas para ventilación. El ajuste del BOA es de doble sentido, pudiendo apretar y aflojar. El tallaje es normal, compré un 47 y me va perfecto. Son anchas, que dan libertad a los pies a moverlos ligeramente. Muy contento con la compra.

I wasn’t sure of the sizing, so contacted customer support, who replied quickly. Shoes arrived quickly. The fit is excellent, as I have wide feet, they are very comfortable and cool for summer riding

I bought these road shoes after being pleased with my Tri-fly triathlon shoes over the last few years but now needed a dedicated pair of road shoes. I thought I knew the size I from the Tri-flys so ordered the same size. However I think these come up bit larger, ether that or they are made on a wider last as the toe section is roomy. It appears that returns are free in Europe (the European distributor seems to be in Belgium) so I would advise ordering your normal size plus one up and one down to bemore sure of getting the right ones.

The shoes are well made, light and stiff. The double Boas work really well so the fit is great around the heel and ankle with no slipping and good power transmission.
I use Look shoe plates which covered the datum markings on the sole. I had to extend them using a rule and white marker pen to get it right.
The difficulty I encountered, when using the here in the UK summer, is that the are hot. They appear to be well ventilated but the areas of ventilation are small or ineffective. The whole of the inner side of the shoe, from toe to heel, doesn't breathe. And this is dispite it having holes punched inside a
and out! It seems to be a three-ply construction with the centre ply being non-breathing which
makes the hole punching pointless.
For:
Well made, light-weight, great power transmission, easily adjustable. At a bargain price on the sale.
Against:
Runs hot, maybe too hot.

Excellent shoes. True to size.

A high end race shoe who fits very well and can be ajusted very easily with 2 Boa closure system buttons.
The shoe is very well ventilated which will be good for the summer.
